American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographer:

ARDMS has administered the exams and has awarded the credentials in the fields of vascular technology, diagnostic medical sonography program and diagnostic cardiac sonography since the year 1975. These nonprofit, independent organizations administer the registered diagnostic medical program, registered vascular technologist exam and many more.

Society for Vascular Ultrasound:

AIUM is generally an association of multidisciplinary with the mission of promoting safe and effective usage of the ultrasound technology in medical community. This goal is achieved by accrediting the programs and the schools, developing the guidelines, educating the members and public and to perform the research.
